Welcome to Color Street!

I am so glad you’re on this journey!!!  You’re probably overwhelmed with now what?
That’s completely NORMAL!!
A few things that you need to know before you get started!
  • I’m your sponsor and your first point of contact for anything Color Street related.  I’m here to help you get started and to meet your goals, whether that’s just to be your own best customer or to make lots of money and earn free product.
  • We have a great upline and you’ll probably hear from a few of them…
    • Danielle Peterson (Team Leader) and my personal sponsor
    • Jessica K (Director) — she’s Danielle’s sponsor – Team Shimmer and Shine
    • Kim Burke — she’s our closes Presidential Founder (Team Glitter, Glamor and Glitz) – if I know her like I think I know her, she will send you a friend request to welcome you.. 🙂
  • You may also hear from Kelly Kucera or Lori Moffit.. even Dawn Shea.  These ladies are all above us and will, from time to time, send out emails to the whole team.
  • When you’re setting up your Customer group, business page, email, etc… make sure that you follow the p&p and not use the words Color Street or CS in them your handles, email address, or anything else.  For more guidelines on this you can refer back to the policy and procedures in your back office.  The company wants to make sure that we are representing ourselves not as the company but as independent stylists.
  • There are a gazillion and 5 facebook groups out there from teams, to SWAG groups, to graphic groups.  Know you don’t have to be in all of them.  I’ve added you to 2 team pages and am happy to point you in the direction of others if you want me to.  But I haven’t yet so as to not over whelm you.

Your first steps.
  • Announce to the world that you’re a stylist!  HOW FUN!!!!  And let people know that you have samples!!  I have people fill out a quick google form.  Here’s mine that you can copy. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1v7UlaCSjJ-FCGv0U2CDQ-NdECpH7M-QmvpkixDBokg0/copy (This link will force you to make a copy for yourself.)
  • Create a customer group.  This is where you’ll continue to build relationships!  As people ask for samples, direct them to your customer group!
  • Pick a date for your launch party… let’s talk more about this if you want me to host it for you!  (I’d be happy to help you!)
  • Find your party girls (yes, you know you have them.. whether they are in person or online) and ask them if they would be willing to help you out and host a party!  Friends help friends!  Don’t be afraid to ask.  The worst they will say is no…   (and always remember.. it’s just nails… no body dies.) 🙂

  • Enjoy this.  Yes… it’s a lot to take it.  But this is the start of something new.  This is the start of something that has great potential.

I’m so excited about your interest in Color Street!  When I joined two
weeks after the company launched in June, I had no idea the impact
these little nail strips would have on my life!

I originally joined because I knew that I would be my own best
customer.  But after more and more people asked me about my nails, and
I as I explained time and time again that they are 100% NAIL POLISH
strips that APPLY DRY with NO TOOLS NEEDED, LAST 10-14 DAYS and come
off with nail polish remover, well….

I knew that I couldn’t pass this opportunity up.  It took me less than
a week from the time I tried a sample on until I joined.

I did!  It’s only natural!

Here’s the biggest that I can answer for you…

* IT COSTS $129 TO GET STARTED.  (That’s always the biggest
question… how much does it cost to get started.)  However, I sold
all the sets in my kit to my friends within a week… they equalled
more than the $129 that I invested.  THE KIT ALSO COMES WITH SAMPLES..
because you’re going to hand these out like candy.  That’s how you get
people to see the magic of Color Street!  _(My husband says it’s like
a drug dealer… giving a little sample to get them hooked, but I like
to think I’m just helping women feel good about themselves!!)_
* YOU HAVE TO SELL $300 IN ONE MONTH EVERY 6 MONTHS… (that’s the
second highest requested question.)  But you know what?  That’s easy
because I’m going to help you do it!  When your kit arrives, we’re
going to get your samples out and _I’LL HELP YOU LAUNCH YOUR BUSINESS_
with an in person or online nail bar depending on our locations and
schedules.
* YOU MAKE 25% OF ALL YOUR SALES TO START.  (Every body wants to know
what they they make.)  But, notice I said, to start.  Each month you
have the OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE YOURSELF A RAISE, either by selling more
than the minimum ($300) or building a team, or both.  The more you
sell, the larger your commission.  The bigger your team, the bigger
your bonuses.  It’s simple math.  Oh.. and WE GET PAID EVERY
WEDNESDAY. 🙂
* NO, YOU DON’T HAVE TO KEEP INVENTORY.  It’s totally NOT a
requirement but some do as they sell more when they have it on hand.
You know your budget and you know what you’re able to do… so make
business decisions based on your situation.
* YOU HAVE FULL ACCESS TO ME AND MY TEAM AS WELL AS OUR UPLINES.
Training, graphics, and all the help you need.  You’re not going to
get left high and dry.  _(This is why I love direct sales… to help
other women succeed!!)_

Here are a few Frequently Asked Questions answered for you.

  1. I have a very busy life and I’m not sure if I can be gone at night. What are the shopping event options?

You can do JUST portable polish parties and online nail bars if that is what fits your schedule.  A portable polish party is when you give someone a hostess packet and some samples and they simply collect orders from their friends and family and turn them in to you. SO EASY!

  1. Do consultants have a monthly/quarterly quota to stay active?

To stay active with Color Street, stylists only need to submit  $300 in one month over a 6 months period. Very easy to stay active!  Because I’m going to help you every step of the way!

  1. Does the company supply stylists with a website? If so, what is the cost?

The cost is $9.95 a month.  (Your first month is free!) And you can cancel that at any time. But this website allows your friends, family, and customers to order directly from your website AND order from your hostesses nail bars online!

  1. How do I submit orders?

You submit orders via your personal website in what we call our “Back Office”.  Here you will place nail bar orders, create online orders, and do business supply orders

  1. Can my customers order from my website?

Yes! Your customers can go directly to your website and place an order

  1. What is my initial cost to become a consultant?

It only takes $129 to purchase your enrollment kit!  (There is also a Deluxe kit option for $299) It comes with over $250 in product you get to use for yourself and your nail bars. And those are yours to KEEP and USE! It also comes with all your order forms, catalogs, samples, and much more! Everything you need to get your business rolling!

  1. Are there any other hidden fees?

No, Color Street does not charge you any other fees throughout the year.

  1. What can I do to prepare while waiting for my kit?

You’ll want to jump right into some training we have just for our new stylists on our team! And you’ll want to spread the word about your new business.  Tell all your family and friends and start booking those nail bars!!!  (I made one post on my personal Facebook page and had FORTY requests for samples… before my kit even got here!!)

I’m going to mail you a portable polish party kit so you have some catalogs, samples and order forms to get started while you’re waiting!

Your best bet is to have what I call a “grand opening nail bar” at your house.  Invite everyone you know and do your own nail bar when your kit arrives.  That way you can enter your first nail bar, you’ll make all the commission, and you’ll earn all the free and half-price items as the hostess-so you can add to your kit for FREE!

  1. How are stylists paid at Color Street?

We are a paperless company!  You will need to set up for Direct Deposit. Stylists are paid weekly in Wednesdays.  Standard commission is 25%.  If you sell $600 in any month, you will receive a 3% bonus on your sales on the first Wednesday of the following month.

  1. Does the company offer stylist incentives?

Yes, Color Street offers us challenges during various months to receive something FREE or have the opportunity to qualify for various things. I personally love a good challenge and it’s funny how your customers will help you get there too! You also have the chance to earn free TRIPS! And you’ll always have the chance to earn NEW free product when a new catalog is getting ready to launch. Color Street makes it easy to run your business with as little out of pocket as possible!

  1. How do I collect money from customers?

As a stylist, you can accept cash, checks, or credit cards for the full amount owed including shipping and tax. Stylists are not charged for this service. Color Street accepts all major credit cards.

  1. Do I have to have a separate business checking account to become a Color Street stylist?

No. Although, by having a separate checking account for your Color Street business it may make it easier to track business income and expenses.

  1. Is there a penalty or fee if I decide to get out of the business?

No. Just contact home office and let them know of your decision.  There is never a penalty for not selling…you have nothing to lose by trying!!!

  1. Are there any support groups or training for Color Street stylists?

Yes! Yes! Yes! We have a phenomenal team page where you will get support and training from ALL your team members! We also have a team page full of daily tips and marketing tricks for your business!
